Ricky Luster Sr.

Ricky Luster Sr. is a veteran Gospel Music Singer/Songwriter/Musician and Composer who has been involved in the Gospel music industry since 1982. He has been recognized by many prominent and professional record industry executives, producers and artists and has achieved great success in his tenure down through the years. Ricky has sung and recorded with such legendary gospel groups as The Highway QC’s of Chicago, Ill., The Sensational Nightingales of Durham, NC and has also sung and recorded in the Southern Gospel Music industry for eleven years with the legendary group Charles Johnson and The Revivers of Durham, NC. Ricky also was blessed to have been a part of the making of three of the “Gaither Homecoming” videos. He has travelled and sung Internationally in various countries such as Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal and so many others. Ricky has been a part of some of Gospel Music’s biggest hit songs, such as “I Can’t Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)” Which earned him and Charles Johnson and The Revivers the # 3 Song in 1993 in the Southern Gospel Singing News Charts. Other hit songs he has been a part of are “Let’s Have Church”“I’ll See You in The Rapture” and “Sealed til The Day of Redemption” and so many others. After many years of singing and traveling with other groups, the lord has lead Ricky has now embark upon his own ministry and solo career and with the Lord’s help in 2020 he released his first Solo project entitled “The Good Shepherd. This awesome recording has a plethora of soulful and exhilarating songs that will touch the very core of your heart! Ricky is currently working on his second album that he hopes to release in the summer of 2026.
